Monday June 17, 2024 Dear Sponsor/Vendor Hello, Evanston Own It would like to take this time to invite you to become a part of our youth and community advocacy in our upcoming event “Praise in the Park”. The event will be held on Saturday August 31, 2024, at Twiggs Park 1901 Simpson Street in Evanston. This event will continue to help us make a difference in our city by keeping our youth engaged in learning opportunities for life. There are two ways that you can be a part of this event as a sponsor $500.00 or a vendor $200.00. Would you like to be a vendor? The vendor fee is $200 which includes a 7-foot table and 2 chairs. We will announce your church or business name throughout the event and promote your company on our website and social media. All food vendors must provide insurance documentation to ensure you are covered. Evanston Own It relinquishes any liability to food vendors products and or services. Consider becoming a sponsor for Praise in the Park for $500.00, this includes a 7-foot table and 2 chairs, and the opportunity to reach the audience on stage for 3 minutes to talk about your church or business. We will also announce your church or business name throughout the event and promote your company on our website and social media. All food vendors must register through the City of Evanston link below: All sponsors and vendors must be confirmed with payment by Friday August 9, 2024. Food vendors please ensure before paying the EOI vendor fee please confirm your permit purchase or waiver and approval through the city’s website: Partner Support: •The Vendor Coordinator Sherry Gregory (847) 971-9784 and will be onsite the day of the event at 9:00 am to allow vendors to begin to set up. •All tents must be free standing (no staked or grounded) and must be complete by 9:30 am for Fire Department inspection. •We provide (1) one 7-foot table and (2) two chairs. You provide your own table covering. •All Vendor/Sponsors tables must be taken by 3:00 pm. •There is no assigned parking, partners are asked to be early to secure parking. •If some reason you are not able to make the event, we will only submit 50% back of the payment due to the limited number of vendors allowed at the event, this requires a 24-hour notice. The day of no refunds will be provided. •Sponsors, please have your “3-minute” plugger ready, the stage coordinator will alert you 7 minutes before to prepare you to get ready. Please remember you have 3 minutes and after 3 minutes the microphone will go off and you would be escorted off the stage. Community Centered, Evanston Own It!
